Andrew Giles, M.D. - Since the establishment of his practice in 1986, Dr. Giles has helped numerous individuals control and overcome their gastrointestinal problems. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. His Internal Medicine Internship and Residency, as well as his Gastrointestinal Fellowship, were completed at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He won the outstanding resident teacher award at the University of Kentucky in 1984.
Dr. Giles is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his board certification in Gastroenterology in 1987. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Seminole County Medical Society. In addition to his extensive knowledge and long history of experience, he also served as Chief of Staff at Florida Hospital Altamonte in 1991 and Chief of Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Giles is blessed to have his lovely wife Karen and two wonderful sons. In his spare time he enjoys reading, traveling, and exercising.
Anthony J. Coppola, M.D. - After being crowned valedictorian in high school, Dr. Coppola chose to employ his talents in the field of medicine, specializing in Gastroenterology. In 1983, he graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a B.S. in Microbiology. Dr. Coppola obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. His Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship were also completed at the University of South Florida, where he was honored as an outstanding resident teacher.
GI doctor Dr. Coppola achieved his board certification in Internal Medicine in 1990, and later received his board certification in Gastroenterology in 1995. He belongs to a plethora of societies, including the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association, Florida Gastroenterologic Society, Florida Medical Society, Seminole County Medical Society, and several other organizations.
Although he was born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Coppola has long-since found a home in Longwood with his wife and two sons.
Anthony C. Lin, M.D. - Following his Gastroenterology Fellowship and Internal Medicine training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Lin dedicated his expertise in the field of medicine to improving the quality of care he knows each patient deserves.
Dr. Lin received his undergraduate B.S. degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 1992. He not only obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996 at the New York University School of Medicine, but also graduated with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha).
He’s a member of several Gastroenterology and medical societies, including the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American College of Physicians. He has published numerous articles in medical journals, and has extensive experience and knowledge of clinical research in the digestive tract and biliary diseases. Dr. Lin is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lin was born in Missouri and now lives in Apopka with his wife and two daughters.
